What is Finger Braid?

It's a method of braiding threads together by putting one loop through another loop. It is actually the same technique as this ribbon braiding method.

What's the Name??

Yeah, that's the question! I have seen it called Knotted Cord, Zipper Sinnet, Idiot's Braid, and Finger Knitting. I'm going to go with Finger Braid!

How To Finger Braid

	Tie a slip knot in the yellow cord Place a loop of the red cord through the yellow loop created by the slip knot
	Tighten the yellow cord's slip knot around the base of the red loop
	Hold the red loop open with your right index finger Hold the tail ends of both cords between the thumb and middle finger of your right hand
	Put your left index finger through the red loop in the SAME direction as your right index finger * Continue to hold the tail ends between the thumb and middle finger of your right hand
	With our left index finger through the loop Use it to grab the yellow thread * Continue to hold the tail ends between the thumb and middle finger of your right hand
	Drop the red loop from your right index finger As you pull the yellow thread through the red loop (using your left index finger) * Continue to hold the tail ends between the thumb and middle finger of your right hand
	With your right hand pull the red thread to Tighten the red loop around the base of the yellow loop * Continue to hold the yellow loop on your left index finger Change your hold on the tail ends and braid to between the thumb and middle finger of your left hand
	Put your right index finger through the yellow loop In the SAME directon as your left indes finger * Continue to hold the tail ends between the thumb and middle finger of your left hand
	Grab the red thread with your left index finger * Continue to hold the tail ends between the thumb and middle finger of your left hand
	Drop the yellow loop from your left index finger As you pull the red thread through the yellow loop (using your right index finger) * Continue to hold the tail ends between the thumb and middle finger of your left hand
	With your left hand pull the yellow thread to Tighten the red loop around the base of the red loop * Continue to hold the yellow loop on your right index finger Change your hold on the tail ends and braid to between the thumb and middle finger of your right hand
