Students should have:

• A loom: many sources. Check around for size and prices
• String: I think starting with cotton has a better result. I would suggest cotton yarn, but you can pick from anything between tatting thread, crochet cotton, or cotton yarn. Check fabric stores or online. At least 2 colors, 3 is nice.
